How long does onboarding take?

Most of the time, you'll be setup in under a day. If you are a very large business with a thousand plus recipes, it could take a few days to a week. The next step is getting your team involved and we recommend tablets or phones for day to day use in the kitchen (though printing works great too).

How do I get my recipes into meez?

Quickly and easily. Oh, you mean like how... A few ways:
1. Upload from most file types right into meez, your recipes auto-format upon upload
2. Type them in using the meez predictive text technology.

How do I get my ingredient costs into meez?

Are the built in yields and conversions customizable?

Absolutely! Though our team has tested every item for accuracy, we understand that your cup of diced onions may weigh more/less than the average weight we determined. You can update any ingredient or prep action from the ingredient's detail page.

Is there a mobile app?

Currently meez is accessible and optimized for use on any computer, tablet, or mobile device.  There is not an iOS or android app yet.

Can I still print recipes?

Yes you can. Print any recipes including sub-recipes if you like, as well as any recipe books or docs.

Quickly and easily. Oh, you mean like how... A few ways: copy from your excel or word files, type them, or just send them our way, we can upload them for you! The faster we get your recipes in, the sooner you’ll wonder how you managed all your content before meez. And we strongly recommend adding photos and videos to your recipes, which you can do with ease in the app.

How is meez different than a restaurant management system?

Well, first off, we’re just not that.  We’re not your inventory, or your purchasing tool, or your financial reporting.  Those systems are integral and help you manage your costs. They exist to optimize your restaurant operations.

meez exists to help you and your team cook smarter.  We are focused on how you experience recipes, how you iterate, how you train, stay organized, and marshal your team to precision and proper execution. meez can certainly help you manage your costs, though our deeper aspiration is to ensure that when you want the scum skimmed from your stock or the sear on the meat to be deep golden brown, your team sees how and knows why.
