(part 4 of 4 to bulk update ingredient costs via spreadsheet)
Once you have imported your purchases via the meez ingredient upload template or if you have setup automated purchasing uploads - you will likely need to map new purchases to your ingredients and define new units of measure as well
See below for details
you can get here from the side menu, or you may see a notification of new purchase items, click that and it will bring you to this page as well
Here you will see any new purchased items that need attention. Purchase items will appear if any of following are true:
If you added a new custom unit of measure, you will define it further here by clicking on the red text
*** Also, if you added a unit that is a container type, i.e. 'case' ; 'each' ; 'Tub' etc. then meez will ask you if you are using using this item only by the piece. If so you can toggle that option. If not, you'll need to define how much is in the 'case' ; "each" etc.
For example, if your case contains 4gallons, you will define that in the modal as '4' for the quanity, and 'gal' for the Unit of Measure'
*** Once you address a new unit of measure once, you never have to do that again
If the the External ID and/or Vendor Name together have not been seen before in your meez, you will be asked to map that purchase to one of your ingredients.
you'll see the cost reflected in the Ingredient's detail page
